Week Six: Monday, August 3-Friday, August 8
This week is going to be set up a little differently; you have a series of tasks, but do not have any specific due dates throughout the week--it’s all due by Friday, August 8th at midnight. The biggest thing you have to do this week, besides the PSA, is get your final website together.
Remember that this is 300 points, the majority of your grade. You can revise any work you’ve turned into me for comments. Remember that revision is different than editing, and unless you’ve heard it from me that your work needs little work and you’ve already earned an A (very few of you), I expect revision. |

- Work on PSA. This is the only project where you are not required to send me a draft, but you are welcome to do so at any time. Email me and I will try and respond as quickly as possible. I also encourage you to use your peers, but again, you are not required to do so.
- Blog Post #20: Create an infographic that deals with ONE, small aspect of something you’ve dealt with so far in this course. Pictochart and Infogram are two great, free infographic generators. Don’t know what an infographic is? Read this, then read over here for some examples.
- Blog Post #21: Write a blog post addressed to students who might take this class
- Blog Post #22: Free Post--and respond to four of your peers’ posts
- Final Blog Post! #23: Thinking about the work you’ve produced this course, what are you most proud of?
- Email me: Spend some time reflecting on how you took your peers’ comments and my comments into consideration when you revised your work. Remember the note about revision at the beginning of this calendar. Be sure to include how you worked with your peers and anything else you would like me to know as I assess your final website.
